No, that’s a myth. “Natural flavors” is a standard label term, and the exact blend is often proprietary to the flavor house (it’s basically their recipe). What matters is the standard the blend has to meet.
Ours are organic natural flavors, and we have documentation that they’re maltodextrin‑free, GMO‑free, vegan, dairy‑free, kosher, and halal.

Totally normal. POG uses organic natural flavor ingredients, which can take a bit longer to fully disperse (especially in very cold water). It doesn’t affect the flavor. Shake, wait ~5 minutes, then shake again.

The bitterness is coming from the orange. POG is passion fruit, orange, and guava, and it’s sweetened with organic monk fruit — so you’re tasting actual citrus rather than a sweetener covering it. There’s also 100mg of caffeine in there, which carries its own bitter edge. Two things that help if you want to give it another go: mix it into 16oz instead of 12, and serve it cold over ice — both take the edge down noticeably. A splash of juice works too. We'll send you an email and we can swap you into one of the electrolyte flavors — Coconut Lime, Raspberry, or Mango. Thank you again!
