Shortly into my UFC career, I found myself on the wrong side of the headlines. A test came back with a banned substance. I knew I hadn't cheated. I knew I hadn't cut corners. But the system doesn't care what you meant to do — it only sees what's in your blood.
We dug in and found the truth: it was a contaminated supplement. Something I trusted. Something that was supposed to help me — and it almost wrecked everything I'd worked for.
